Despite having a lot of things on and the bulk of my free time being used up by the Lia & Liam I’ve managed to squeeze in another short post on this week's photography news. I feel like it’s been another quite uneventful week with not much on in the world of photography. However I have found a lot of interesting videos so make sure to block of some time if you want to get through them all.
For me personally the recent weeks have been quite good. I’m now actually generating a few sales a day on Shutterstock and that makes me really proud. I’ve also increased my Instagram following by a significant amount - so thanks to anyone who is following me on there.
This weeks best photography articles

Instagram Hits 600 Million Users, Up From 300 Million Two Years Ago by Michael Zhang on PetaPixel. Instagram is massive and is always getting bigger. Is Instagram the most important social platform for photographers? That’s debatable - but there’s no easier way to reach as many people for sure.

There’s been a lot of hype surrounding this new Hasselblad and it sure looks like an interesting camera. Is it for me? At the moment, certainly not. Apart from the most obvious factor, the price, I need a camera that is more of an all-rounder. But I think this one will still interest many photographers.
The invention bringing a terminally ill man happiness on the BBC website. 2016 has been an awful year. Every heartwarming story like this one is welcome!
And finally, as a bonus I want you all to have a look at kirbyjenner on Instagram. Just do it.
